36 Toy Soldiers Line Up On Stage for a Christmas Classic and the Audience Starts to Cheer

The routine is far more difficult than most people realize. When they turn as a line or parade in the star formation, the Rockettes on the outside of the line have to take longer steps than those on the inside of the line or the star in order to make it look unison. Essentially, they are marching at different speeds and leg distance in order to maintain the illusion. Even one dancer out of time would spoil the illusion. From straight lines, to cross patterns and intersections, the performers never miss a beat.
